My story

I have painted for as long as I can remember. I grew up drawing, spent years devoted to realism and illustration, and the pencil eventually led me to graphic design, my profession for over fifteen years.

Painting never went away. For a long time it lived in the margins of the day, between work and family, as a refuge: my pause to quiet the noise and find a place to express myself freely. Today it is no longer a margin and has its own space in my studio.

My painting

For me, painting is a way of feeling. Nature inspires me, and I am immersed in a study of colour, texture and what each material can give: oil, mixed media, relief, the surface itself.

I do not work towards a fixed destination. Each series opens a new question, and I let the painting find its own course, leaving the door open to whatever comes next.

In the studio

Some pieces are born in a short session and others are built up in layers, over time. I work in series, and every piece that leaves the studio is one of a kind, signed and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.

I hope that, as you look at it, you feel the same calm I seek while painting it.
