Floral oil studies

A study is a small piece painted from life in a 30 to 60 minute session: a flower, a light and an unstretched remnant of cotton fabric. It is the lightest, most direct part of my work, the one that is born each morning before the larger paintings.

Each study is unique, signed, protected with varnish and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is sold unframed: being cotton fabric, it is best framed so the edges do not fray. It keeps the marks of the process, which are part of the work.
